About The Grimm Tales
“The Grimm Tales” is a website devoted to relaying all the wonderful fairy tales and stories written by the Brothers Grimm. The stories you will find throughout this website are based on translations of the Household Tales by the Brothers Grimm. This will include over 200 stories and tales, when all is complete. Additions to this site will happen regularly until all are available.
Some such stories have been adapted in to the modern fairy tales we all know and love. Now is your chance to read the original Brothers Grimm versions. Enjoy.
These Brothers Grimm texts are available within the Public Domain, and as such may be enjoyed in any which way you, the reader, see fit.

About The Brothers Grimm
The Brothers Grimm, Jakob and Wilhelm, were born in Hanau, Hesse, Germany. Jakob on Jan 4 1785 and Wilhelm on Feb 24 1786. The brothers, German academics, were best known for publishing their collections of fairy tales and folk tales. They were also involved with working in linguistics, relating to how sounds in words shift over time; which inherently brought forth Grimm’s Law on the subject.
